Anagama collection launch 7 September

I’m excited to launch the 2024 Anagama collection on Saturday 7 September!

Join me for the launch at the Strathnairn Arts Open Day, from 10am-2pm. I’ll have these beautiful and varied pots for sale at the makers market stall.

Cup, handbuilt porcelain and wild clay blend with naturally occurring additions, Chun glaze, wood fired for 5 days at Old Saint Lukes Studio.

There will be a small number of very special pieces hand built from porcelain and wild clay, gifted to me by a dear friend.

Other pieces will include vases, from the ephemeral to dark, chunky and volcanic. If you’ve ever wanted to own a vase that’s been finished with a bench grinder, now is your chance!

There will also be some small whimsical pieces, with plenty of personality and finished with a touch of gold.

Fired for 5 and a half days at Old Saint Lukes Studio in Gundaroo, the Anagama kiln is a labour of love. I love helping Ian and Moraig to fire the kiln, and I’m sure you will love the pots.
