TACA emerging artist merit award

I was totally stoked to be awarded The Australian Ceramics Association Emerging Artist Merit Award at this year’s Canberra Potters’ members’ exhibition.

The judges panel gave me a really lovely note about my piece “Kneeling”:

This work is an intriguing and fascinating form. The process of construction embraces the firing technique, and the asymmetry reveals different viewpoints.
